Carl M. Begin, CFP®,  Assistant Vice President and Investment Officer

Carl grew up in Burrillville, Rhode Island.

He is a 1987 graduate of Bryant University with a B.S. in Business Administration, majoring in Economics. From 1988 to 1997 he was employed as a U.S. Customs Service Import Specialist in Boston where he performed regulatory compliance audits and enforced commercial importation statutes. From 1997 to 1998 Carl was a Putnam Investments transaction services Quality Control Administrator. 

In 1999, he completed the Boston University Financial Planner Program.

He passed the comprehensive CFP^® exam in July 1999 and was awarded the CFP^® certification in 2001 upon completion of mandatory work experience. 

From 1999 to 2003, Carl worked at Weston Financial Group in Wellesley, Massachusetts as a Financial Planning Associate, constructing comprehensive financial plans for high net worth clients. From 2003 to 2006 Carl was employed by StrategicPoint Investment Advisors in Providence as a Senior Financial Advisor and Managing Director of Insurance Services. 

In July 2006, Carl joined Anawon Trust as Investment Officer where he oversees investment strategy and manages client portfolios.
