Bristol County Savings Bank announces the appointment of Paul M Lenahan as Executive Vice-President of Anawon Trust.

 

DATELINE: TAUNTON, MA…

Paul M Lenahan has been named Executive Vice-President of Anawon Trust, a Division of Bristol County Savings Bank. Founded in 1846, Bristol County Savings Bank is a $1.1 billion savings bank headquartered in Taunton, MA, with 10 offices in Eastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

 

With over 30 years of experience, Lenahan is well versed in the intricacies of banking, trusts and investments. In his new position, Lenahan will provide oversight of Anawon Trust with responsibility for delivering Anawon Trust’s investment and trust capabilities to the Bank’s clients and prospects. Most recently, Lenahan served as the U. S. Trust Market Investment Executive in Providence RI.

 

Lenahan is a graduate of Providence College where he was awarded a Masters of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. He is also a Certified Financial Planner and a graduate of the College for Financial Planning.

 

Currently a member of the Rhode Island Estate Planning Council and the Providence Society of Financial Analysts, Lenahan received the Mal Brown Award from Providence College’s Mal Brown Club in 2007 for loyalty and distinguished service to Providence College.

 

Lenahan is Treasurer and past chairman of the Hockomock YMCA and Vice Chairman of Phoenix Houses of New England.  He is also a member of the President’s Council of Providence College and the Diocese of Providence Inter Parish Loan Committee. 

 

He previously served as the Director of the United Way of Attleboro and the United Way of Metro West and has participated in development activities for the American Cancer Society, the American Heart Association, and other charitable organizations.

 

Lenahan is a resident of North Attleboro where he has served as a member of the Finance Committee and Representative Town Meeting.
